About Sadie's

In 1980 Kelly Bradley and a group of friends organized Metroport Meals On Wheels to meet the needs of their elderly, homebound neighbors. In the beginning, Kelly and her group of volunteers cooked the meals in their own homes.

The first participant to receive meals was Ms. Sadie England of Roanoke, Texas.
